Now Viewing: kirby_(series)Tag type: Copyright Covers the entire Kirby video game franchise created by Sakurai Masahiro. The first game, Kirby's Dream Land, was released for the Game Boy in 1992. The games are mostly platformers although the franchise has ventured into different genres. Its hero, Kirby, has the ability to copy his enemies abilities by sucking them in and swallowing them. The games are notable for their bright and colorful visuals and are often released late into a console's lifespan. Despite the cute and cheerful atmosphere, the games frequently have true final bosses that are quite scary in sharp contrast to the rest of the game. It has been adapted into an anime titled Hoshi no Kirby in 2001. Other Wiki Information Last updated: 06/27/11 9:03 PM by jojosstand This entry is not locked and you can edit it as you see fit. |
